When it comes to doing your best- your thoughts count.
As athletes, we are well trained to go over our race day strategies, but how often do we go over what we want to think about during that race? Your mind has power. It can significantly decrease your performance, or it can significantly increase your performance. What we think about, we become.
We are what we pay attention to, even in the most subtle aspects.
I think that’s worth repeating and digesting…
You ARE what you pay attention to on the daily basis; you are your thoughts, you are who you spend time with, and you are what you put your energy towards.
Thousands of thoughts run through our minds every day. Most of these thoughts we are completely unaware of. They come, they go. It takes practice and commitment to intentionally train your brain to create thoughts that improve your well-being and enhance your performance.
The first step is to create awareness and rewrite the script you are telling yourself.
Humans are incredibly capable of anything we put our hearts into, especially when the body and mind are working together. This takes practice. It takes accountability, and it is often way more manageable with a guide who can reflect back to you your blind spots and areas of unconscious thought patterns that may be getting in your way. Together, we can work on strengthening your thoughts and beliefs that increase your performance and overall well-being.
I am here to assist you in enhancing your performance so you can reach your highest potential.
Some areas we will work on together, but not limited to:
- Performance Anxiety
- Positive Self Talk
- Training Commitment
- Managing Injury Recovery
- Increase Focus & Concentration
- Mental Toughness
- Increase Motivation & Drive
