Jacob Oak
Jacob Oak is from a small town in Minnesota known as Watertown. He grew up with the constant intention of trying to change his body. As someone who always wanted to “fit in,” he tried to model his body off of what he thought fit individuals looked like. It took years of developing healthier habits, strong mental work, and guidance from friends and mentors to understand the true definition of fitness and being comfortable in your own skin. He now works hard to show what true balance and fitness look like through his own personal journey. He is a huge believer in building hybrid athletes who want to stay strong, perform better, and increase their mental game.
Jacob graduated from the University of Minnesota and has been working in the fitness industry for over 3 years. He is a personal trainer, run coach, and gait analyst who helps clients first understand why they are choosing to embark on the endurance journey they have. From there, he helps clients successfully achieve their goals healthily and sustainably so that they are continuously wanting more. In addition to that, Jacob’s brand Oak Endurance is working to spread light and create awareness around the social stigmas involved in the endurance world so that all athletes are included and feel like they matter as they chase their goals and unlock their full potential.
Outside of work, Jacob is obsessed with music. Specifically, concerts and collecting vinyl records. He loves to travel with his partner and try as much new food as possible while exploring all types of gyms, trails, and other fitness communities. He is currently in pursuit of a sub 3-hour marathon.
